Ethiopian Cargo and Logistics Services has done all of the necessary preparations and has all of the necessary skills to carry the COVID-19 vaccine worldwide.

According to Ethiopian Airlines, the airline has delivered more than 30 million vaccination doses to more than 24 nations.

The vaccinations are transported utilizing the airline’s state-of-the-art Cargo terminal, which includes a 54,000-square-meter cold storage facility with segmented temperature ranges and a real-time temperature monitoring system.

Ever since the epidemic broke out last year, the number of transported passengers dropped dramatically. Hence the airline has turned to cargo services to boost income.

Its executives also invested in expanding the capacity of the airline’s cargo terminal and equipped the facility, called the “Pharma Wing,” with the necessary equipment to store and distribute time-sensitive medications, such as vaccines.

The airlines claimed, “Using its state-of-the-art Cargo terminal in Addis Ababa, the airline has shipped more than 30 million doses of vaccine to more than 24 countries”

Ethiopian Cargo & Logistics Services further stated that its Cargo service has done all essential preparations and has all of the necessary capacities to ship the COVID-19 vaccine around the world.
