Tigist Mamuye Win Paris Marathon.

Ethiopian runners dominated the women’s Paris Marathon with Tigist Memuye finishing first at a time of two hours 26 minutes and 12 seconds after a late spurt marking the biggest win of her career, three seconds ahead of Yenenesh Dinkesa and Fantu Jimma. The Paris Marathon held on October 17, 2021, was supposed to take place in April this year but was postponed for six months because of the COVID-19 epidemic. This iconic race now draws more than 60,000 runners from 145 countries. The race took through some of the capital’s most famous avenues and plazas. It starts on the Champs Elysees and takes you by the Louvre, Place de la Bastille, Notre Dame, the Eiffel Tower, and finishes near the Arc de Triomphe.
