Ethiopia is the host for The 17th African Digital Economy Forum.

December 8, 2021

Ministry of Innovation and Technology publicized that Ethiopia will host the 17th African Digital Economic Forum in 2022. The Africa Digital Economy Forum (ADEF) is a non-profit initiative aimed towards the consciousness of the full digitization of Africa’s economies. Last year it was held in Poland. Preparations are underway to ensure successful completion.

The State Minister for Innovation and Technology is optimistic that the digital technology sector in Africa will advance after all the essential support given to African countries. Having this forum in Ethiopia will not only allow the discussion on digitization but will attract several foreign nationals who might be willing to invest and boost tourism.

The forum will embark on the importance of solving the internet infrastructure and service restrictions in Africa and will enable African countries to receive vital guidance amplifying their digital sector.
