MyAmole Marketplace is a platform that allows sellers to promote products & services and is available for both local & international customers. The platform has different products ranging from fashion to grocery items, home & kitchen appliances to electronics, arts & crafts to beauty & personal care, books to video games, and many more. Amole provides value-added services for customers such as microcredit (buy now and pay later), micro insurance, flight & hotel booking, train and bus ticket services. Consumers can make payments through telebirr and MasterCard.

Amole is owned by Moneta Technologies and provided by Dashen Bank. Customers interact with the bank using mobile, internet, USSD, all with the same username and password.

MyAmole Marketplace collaborated with a Canadian and Indian-based company called PupaClic technologies to develop its platform. It is working to integrate its system with different delivery companies. It provides vendors with a portal for uploading product photos and supports them with managing their virtual store. The website and application enable customers to get products from vendors from Ethiopia, Kenya, and Dubai.

The prominent logistic companies on the platform are DHL, Eshi Express Delivery, Zmall, Ethiopian Postal Service, UPS, Aramex, and more.

Amole’s primary target market is Addis Ababa city and its surrounding areas. Its secondary target markets consist of neighboring African countries, Europe, North & South America, and the Middle East. Amole has nearly 2.7 million customers, with almost 20% estimated to be customers and about 1000 estimated to be vendors.
