The need for digital transactions increased due to the pandemic and the Central Banks’ measure to create a cashless society. Ethiopian e-commerce companies have risen to almost 30 and are expected to grow even more. The Ministry of Revenue is setting up technologies for e-receipts and other e-services to help with this.
