Ethiopia’s Hawassa Polytechnic College (HPTC) & Kenya’s Kisumu National Polytechnic (TKNP) sign a partnership deal.

Ethiopia’s Hawassa Polytechnic College (HPTC) & Kenya’s Kisumu National Polytechnic (TKNP) sign a partnership agreement. It was facilitated by the East Africa Skills Transformation and Regional Integration Project (EASTRIP) National Project Coordinators from Ethiopia and Kenya. The agreement was signed by Hawassa Polytechnic College Dean, Mr. Esayas Guta, and Kisumu National Polytechnic College Principal, Ms. Catherine Kelonye. The Chief Administrative Secretary, Ministry of Education in Kenya, H.E. Hassan Noor Hassan, Council Members, PIU representatives, National Project Coordinators, and HPTC Management witnessed this occasion.

The deal states the management of local student & staff interaction in the Textile and Garment priority areas. In addition, there will be an easier exchange, creating mutually agreed programs, and research sharing for staff & students.
