Ethiopia ranked 7th in Business Africa Insiders’ Top 10 Best African Countries to Invest in 2022 because it is Africa’s 2nd largest flower exporter & among top coffee producers globally.
Ethiopia’s economy has shown a 6.1 percent growth between 2019 and 2020 and is expected to grow to 8.7% in 2022. The country maintained its GDP at $93.97 billion in the past year. Business Insider Africa selects Ethiopia for its high Gross Domestic Product and resilient economy.
BI Africa selected Nigeria as the 1st due to its Gross Domestic Product in 2021, reaching $514 billion. Egypt ranked 2nd at a GDP of $394 billion, and South Africa ranked 3rd at $329.53 billion.
