The African Digital Art Network launches Nandi NFT Marketplace.

March 5, 2022

The African Digital Art Network (ADA) is an international award-winning digital platform and archive that hosts the largest digital collection of African Art. ADA was founded in 2009 and has gathered a global community of creatives, artists, and collectors.

The ADA launches the Nandi NFT Marketplace to enable Black creators to thrive in Web3, a decentralized online ecosystem based on blockchain. In addition to the platform, Nandi will introduce the Nandi Cowry Community to act as a membership card.

This will allow users to access special tools like member-only benefits, content, voting privileges on grants awarded to emerging creator fellowships, premiere digital art community curation, and curated exhibitions on the Nandi NFT Marketplace. Some of the founding members of the Nandi Cowry Community include several respected global influencers, thought leaders, and VIPs.

Jepchumba, Co-Founder and CEO of Nandi, stated that the early excitement and buzz surrounding the groundbreaking launch is invigorating. For more than a decade, Nandi has built a community at ADA intending to give artists throughout Africa, and the African Diaspora, a voice and an opportunity to build livelihoods through their work.
