In February 2021, the Ethiopian Government set up an initiative to increase housing. The initiative includes the Addis Ababa City Administration providing the necessary support for real estate developers to address the housing challenge in Addis Ababa. Following this, the Ministry of Health partners with Gojo Bridge Housing to build 10,000 homes for healthcare workers in 5 years.

Gojo Bridge is a real estate company that operates to meet the increasing housing demands in Addis Ababa by building affordable homes and providing financial solutions for prospective owners. The new housing project aims to tackle rising housing costs and needs among healthcare workers. Gojo Bridge will help healthcare workers own houses with a flexible payment plan and monthly savings.
