Standard Bank Group (SBG) is a financial institution providing banking and financial services in Africa and globally. The Analysis is South Africa’s only survey providing a reliable and independent ranking of skills in the industry. Twenty-seven institutions participated in the survey for 40 research categories.
The award recognizes financial institution excellence in research in the institutional stockbroking sector in South Africa. It is the longest-running survey of its kind globally. RMB ranks first in Overall Firms for Research and 21 sub-categories, including Corporate Access, Equities, Sales Teams, Platinum & Precious Metals, and more. SBG earns second Overall Firms for Research and is first in 28 sub-categories, including Administration Efficiency, Gold Mining, General Mining, Oil & Gas & Chemicals, and more. SBG had previously ranked first in the overall category for six consecutive years.
