It aims to make a positive impact through businesses and community engagement.

IKEA Bistros selects Gora Coffee by Moyee Ethiopia, Ethiopia’s largest coffee roaster, to sell its products in Sweden. Moyee Coffee is the world’s first FairChain coffee, roasting & packaging in the country of origin. It produces premium quality beans blended by award-winning baristas and cuppers. The IKEA Social Entrepreneurship initiative chose Gora Coffee because of its business model and contribution to employment, sustainability, environment, and transparency.

Gora Coffee pays more than the market by almost 20% and works closely with farmers employing 1,800 smallholder farmers, 48% of whom are women. It plans to grow its farmers by 3,000 by 2025 to impact over 6,000 people in the community. The company also provides training programs to ensure the best quality coffee.
