Africa’s first International Book Fair will be held in Addis Ababa towards the end of 2022.

Tsehai Publishers is one of the few publishing companies committed to producing African literature. It publishes books that depict Ethiopia’s historical, political, economic, & cultural issues and bring international knowledge. The company aims to provide Ethiopians access to books and plans to supply over 1 billion books throughout Africa and the Middle East in five years.

Tsehai Publishers signed an agreement with two international book fairs, Big Bad Wolf Books and Sharjah International Book Fair, to organize the book fair & sale event towards the end of 2022. Big Bad Wolf Books is a Malaysian book fair usually held in Malaysia, Indonesia, Myanmar, Pakistan, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, and the United Arab Emirates. The Sharjah International Book Fair is an international book fair held for 11 days in the United Arab Emirates. The book fair and sales event aims to sell over 1 million books in 10 days with a discount ranging from 55 to 95%.
