Copia Global is a platform that provides mobile commerce to middle and low-income African. It is one of the fastest-growing retail enterprises in Kenya and Uganda. Copia aims to enhance its platform and expand from e-commerce services to digital and financial services, including payments, credits, and loan products. Its board comprises the most influential and innovative leaders, such as Isaac Awuondo, the Chairman of NCBA Bank, and Jerry Held, a successful Silicon Valley technology executive. It recently selected Buhle Goslar, CEO of Jumo, to be part of its board.
Buhle Goslar has a BCom Marketing Degree from UNISA, an Executive MBA from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Cape Town, and is a certified international retail banker. In addition, she also completed post-graduate management programs from Harvard Business School, TUFTS Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy, and Oxford Saïd Business School. She has over 18 years of leadership experience in the financial services, technology, retail, and tourism sectors. Copia chose Buhle for her vast experience in finance, technology, retail, product growth, and consumer analytics in sub-Saharan Africa, Asia, and Europe.
