HEINEKEN Ethiopia introduces its first malt-based non-alcoholic energy drink

June 28, 2022

BERTAT HEINEKEN introduces its first malt-based non-alcoholic energy drink, BERTAT, to Ethiopia. BERTAT is a fruity-tasting drink that provides instantaneous energy like other energy drinks while adding the benefits of malt and the nutritional benefits of vitamin B6 and B12. BERTAT is HEINEKEN’s healthier drink and is the first energy drink in a returnable & recyclable glass bottle. It has nutrients quickly absorbed into the body to be an ideal energy source for mental and physical activity. HEINEKEN Ethiopia began production in 2011 after acquiring two Ethiopian government-owned breweries. It is located in east Harar, Bedele, and Addis Ababa. HEINEKEN Ethiopia is dedicated to reducing pollution to the environment, which is why BERTAT glass bottles can be recycled and reused over & over again.
