Apollo Hospitals, an Indian multinational healthcare group, and Eclipse Group Africa, a subsidiary of Eclipse Group UK in the hotel and leisure industry, have signed an MoU to establish a cancer care center in the Msasani area of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. As part of the Apollo Hospital’s mission to improve billions of lives worldwide and provide the best clinical service, the Apollo Hospital has teamed up with the Eclipse Group Africa to establish an Apollo cancer center in Tanzania. Apollo will provide advanced cancer care treatments as part of this partnership. With a focus on quality, the two companies aim to build Tanzania’s healthcare system and help citizens and neighboring countries with cancer care without traveling a long distance for treatment. Over 55 million Tanzanians will benefit from the partnership, which will help the country’s healthcare system improve.

The state-of-the-art cancer center will have 60 beds and will provide comprehensive cancer care from diagnosis to treatment. It will give service to cancer patients of all ages, from children to adults, with medical, surgical, and radiation treatment. With a team of expert oncologists, cancer care management, and some of the best technology in the world, it will provide the best healthcare.

The partnership between Apollo Hospitals and the Eclipse Group in Africa will strengthen international relations and lay the groundwork for many more strong associations to emerge. Apollo Hospitals also intends to build an advanced diagnostic center with cutting-edge laboratory, ultrasound, and imaging equipment. The general population of Tanzania will benefit from easy access to high-end PET CT, CT, and MRI services.
