Tobi Amusan sets a world record at the World Athletics Championship 100 m hurdles semi-final with a time of 12:12. She is the first Nigerian to win this title at the World Athletics Championships. Oluwatobiloba Ayomide Amusan, famously known as Tobi, is a 25-year-old Nigerian track and field athlete who specializes in the 100 meters hurdles and competes in sprinting.
Tobi got her first silver medal at the age of 16 at the 2013 African Youth Championship. She made her debut at the All-Africa Games in 2015 at 18 years old and is now a two-time African Games champion. She has received honors like the Diamond League Trophy and the 2018 Commonwealth Games championship.
