Five BPO companies to take part in Dubai Int’l Tech 2022 Fair

The Ethiopian Ministry of Innovation and Technology announced that five Ethiopian Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) companies that engage in business outsourcing have been selected from those who have applied to participate in the conference. The five companies to participate in the GITEX Global Conference are Africom Technologies, Excellerent Technology Solutions, IE Network Solutions, Orbit Health Solutions, and R&D Group. The companies have been chosen to promote BPO firms as the initiation for the Digital Ethiopia 2025 strategy. The Ethiopian Minister of State for Innovation and Technology, Huria Ali, met with participating companies, urging the companies to show the best of what they have to offer. Addressing the participation is not only to showcase their respected company, they will also be representing Ethiopia’s potential in this sector.

The Gulf Information Technology Exhibition (GITEX), also known as the International Technology Fair, is the most significant exhibition event in the technology sector worldwide. It is an annual consumer computer and electronics trade show, exhibition, and conference held at the Dubai World Trade Center in November 2022. The Tech Expo is expected to host 170 countries, over 100,000 visitors, and over 4,000 technology leaders. For the past 41 years, the conference has focused on new key technology sectors such as smart cities, cyber security, the information economy, mobility, digital healthcare, and telecom.
